goodbye calgary, and hello mexico!
for the winter break in 2010, my family decided on doing a mexico trip!
I am very excited for this trip, for it has been a very long time since I've travelled somewhere far.....by plane and even out of North America!
I just finished painting my toes TEAL so that I am prepared for the sunny beaches of mexico!
we are going to an all-inclusive resort~ which is great because I do have a big appetite, and I most definitely do not plan on holding back!

today marks the very day I finished my fall semester of 2010.
it is actually a weird feeling.
i am constantly thinking about what assignment i need to do or thinking about how next week there's something due.....but you know what? THERE ISN'T~

we were all naive once.
crying or arguing with siblings over trivial things...
but as you grow older, you realize and take-in all the changes happening around you.
and you react to those changes with a positive attitude, or a negative attitude.
as a born pessimist, I tend to spread negative energy and look at situations with the glass half empty.
changes in one's life really triggers something within oneself.
perhaps something triggered my pessimism.
this "half-empty" side of me is growing stronger.
I guess all I can do for now is to just, like my previous post, LIVE & FORGET

there are times in life where you forget things you don't want to forget, and remember things you do want to forget...today I went to snowboard at Sunshine Village and I forgot everything and anything that was going on in my life......it was a great feeling...I was stress-free/worry- free......until........

I came back home.

[flickering light]

today in Calgary, the weather was just peachy...it reached to -30 degrees
the drastic weather changes kind of resembles my mood from the past few weeks.
just like a flickering candle light, my mind is always flickering...

TODAY was a day.....
I think it marked a significant part in my life. piano was a huge part of my life, and today was my official day of dropping it......i have quit piano once before, but I missed playing it so much that I picked it up again~
Piano was with me since the age of 7. I wanted to play because my older sister was always playing it, and being the annoying little sibling I am, I wanted to copy everything/anything she did. Now here I am at age 20, where I mark the end in my piano journey. I was definitely fortunate to have great teachers. If it wasn't for them, then I probably would've dropped piano many many years ago. Unfortunately.....this was not the way I wanted to end my ties with piano.....

I am currently taking a Music History about the Blues, and I have to say I discovered a whole new genre of music that appeals to me. What's really great is that the "evolution" of music is present in the music itself. How it got from one end of the spectrum to the other is really fascinating. I definitely recommend taking one of these courses. GPA booster for sure, and it's interesting!

CHRISTMAS is arriving soon everyone!

we had our first drops of snow today in cow-town Calgary~moOOOooo! I drove out my driveway and could feel the HEAVY snow slowing my tires down.....it was quite a rush getting to school today~

winter definitely hit Calgary with a "BANG" this morning~
