i am sad to say today will be the last day i post anything on this blog page.......
it's kinda of a difficult situation for me because i did really kind of "bond" with blogspot...
however fear not, i will not stop blogging^^*~ i will be using "tumblr" now...i see that it is much more efficient for me...although it won't be as pretty as my blogspot blog, it'll still be me! so if you want to, please join me at.......

[unforgettable nomination]

fellow bloggers,

i am proud to announce i recently received an e-mail from the RCM (Royal Conservatory of Music) saying i could nominate a teacher if i wanted...i am further proud to say that i nominated my piano teacher.....he really does deserve this nomination and i am glad that i got the opportunity to nominate him...even though i quit piano just recently, i did not and will not forget my piano lessons with him.....and i cannot stress that enough.

it's funny because, when i had my lessons with him we clicked and just had fun at every lesson....but as soon as i stopped taking piano lessons with him.......i just could not get myself to talk to him anymore.....it was as if i was scared to even say "hi" to him.....when/why it turned out like that i wonder...it really did have an unfortunate turn of events...

another day with sunshine...
you never really notice how much you miss something until you are parted from it for a long time...
it really is great to see sunshine with blue skies~
for a moment i thought there was an apocalypse here on earth because of the murky miserable weather...
i think weather really does help uplift the mood in people~
i feel really positive and just relaxed looking out my window to see sunshine

[fresh beginnings]

spring has finally arrived
i saw sunshine today which was a great change from the usual snowfall
it felt like a perfect time for a change.
i decided to give my blog a makeover and indeed it is a huge makeover...
my previous blog had a dark palette to it which kind of suited the winter time...
but because lovely spring has arrived, i decided to go with warm colours~

i hope that my blog warms my readers up

[control]

i was driving back from school today.....
got stuck on a red traffic light.....
i was looking at the burning red glow and realized that humans are actually controlled by this light!
it was weird to see how they say "humans are the smartest species on earth" yet....we are controlled by technology.....

i don't know...it was just a thought i had while driving...

[flying time]

the human mind is a scary yet interesting thing.......

I think time flies quicker the older you get..........I remember thinking I wanted to drive around, and go to parties, and become an adult and just work~
and now that I am driving myself around.......it makes me wonder how I got here~ how did I just all of a sudden grab the wheel of a car (without supervision) and just drive straight down the road.....what made me qualified to drive safely around cities~ it's weird because right when you feel like you're an adult, something reminds you that you're still growing and you have to start from square one.

[Happiness]

I recently finished reading the book "Happiness" by Will Ferguson. I picked it up about 6 months ago and finally finished it! yay! I wanted to know what the hype was about considering it was an international best-seller~

My opinion of the book was...."it's been a while since I've been so intensely into a book!" haha~ people who know me, know that I am not a reader~ but aside from Dan Brown novels, this book is by far one of my favourites. It has a very simple plot, and very simple message, but the way Will Ferguson wrote the message across was simple too!!!!~ I cannot emphasize how simple, yet complex this novel can be.

rawr~ valentines is coming just around the corner!
as i realized that valentines was coming up, i wanted to know how this holiday came about!
....and so my research began------>(wiki is a life saver)

Valentine's Day is short for Saint Valentine's Day, and this holiday was actually named after a christian martyr named "Saint Valentine"~ as you all know, this is a holiday to celebrate love towards your intimate other~

these facts were all i needed to know~ haha~ if you guys want to know more, wiki it^^*

[body butter]

recently.......I discovered I have a love/hate relationship with body butter.....from body shop.....


LOVE: 
I have "Grapefruit Body Butter" that smells amazingly awesome!  Although, I do believe strawberry flavour is to DIE for!


HATE:
It's called Body Butter for a reason......I actually didn't take the name literally at first.....so I didn't expect the product to be shiny with a buttery texture~ when I realized how buttery it was.....................I do not like it at all.

today was a good day...


I thought it would be a very hectic/tiring day but it actually turned out to be a fun and awesome day~
I followed my childhood-friend, soon to be bride, around for her wedding dress shopping with her mom, and her other friend~
I got to BOND more with her friend, and with my childhood-friend throughout the day.


To be honest it's been a while since I felt this close to my friend. 
It was easier today....to just talk...
I realized today that I missed out on precious time...

[new year]

breathing in the fresh air of 2011~
much is to happen in this year~ i can feel it!
well~ school is about to start again...I gotta get prepared for that!
in a way...I think i like school~ during my winter break (after coming back from Mexico), every day I felt like i needed to do something~ I actually wanted to research and write papers~
it's interesting what school can do to you....
of course there are those who enjoy freedom of life.....and do absolutely nothing but sit on their couch and watch TV~ whatever floats your boat i guess~
